Prof. Violy Quintana is a former member of the UP Testing Committee and she has been helping students prepare for college entrance exams for over 30 years. Being a veteran in teaching and curriculum development, she has been a consultant for various institutions such as DepEd and SEARCA.

Leopold Laset

Leopold Laset is best known as the founder and co-creator of the Creative Math Teknix Program. The former Head of the UP Rural High School Mathematics Department is more popularly called “Sir Laset” by students and colleagues alike. Lorna Aporto is regarded as the best Chemistry teacher that UP Rural High School ever had. She is now managing a branch of KB Tutorial & Consulting Corp. where her expertise in one-on-one tutorial is replicated among dedicated tutors. Ma’am Lorn’s smart and witty way of teaching the dreaded Chemistry makes learning of the subject fun and easy.

Ian Escamos

Ian Escamos is the brains behind the back-end programming of upcatreview.com. Aside from being a computer whiz, Sir Ian or Sir Lappy also teaches Algebra and Geometry. He was able to improve whatever techniques he learned from his former high school Math teacher –  Sir Laset. That is why he was also tapped to co-create the Creative Math Teknix Program.

Neb Perez being an electrical engineer and a lecturer in the Electrical Engineering Department of UPLB, is the author of all the Physics materials of OUR Program. But what is amazing to this young engineer is his being a member of MENSA – Philippines, an elite organization where only the top 2% of the population in terms of IQ is admitted. Sir Neb wrote most of the genius techniques for average students in the workbook The 37 Proven Tips to Pass the UPCAT the Sure Way!

Neri Marasigan

Neri Marasigan is a former English and Literature teacher in UP Rural High School. Together with his wife Yeye, they became consultants of the English Academy that helped foreigners like Koreans learn to speak and write in English. They also authored the Reading Comprehension and Language Proficiency materials of OUR Program. Sir Neri also writes reviewers for high school entrance tests like the Philippine Science High School National Competitive Examination.
